How would the American Center for Cures plan be paid for?

The Treasury would issue $125 billion a year in bonds for six years, $750 billion in total. The government pays only the interest, $6 billion the first year and rising $6 billion a year, offset by licensing fees on compounds that treat rather than cure. Federal health care savings from diseases prevented or cured repay the principal.

Sixteen private-sector efforts: fourteen with $36 billion each to prevent or cure a single disease; two with $108 billion each, one for all other diseases including orphan diseases and one for artificial intelligence; and a $30 billion reserve. A public count of people waiting for a cure. Visitors add who they are waiting for (who the person is to them, never their name), an optional condition and a zip code, which adds them to their congressional district’s total.

Accepted Answer

No. It is a project of a 501(c)(3) public charity and does not support or oppose any candidate for office. Candidates are not scored, ranked or labeled. The organization names no party or politician and never tells anyone how to vote.
